Privacy Policy

Alchemist Apps（apps.alchemist-magic.net）

Alchemist Apps (apps.alchemist-magic.net) is a small site run by one person. It is built on a simple principle: if we do not need the data, we do not collect it.

Apps differ, though. An app that saves files, or one you have to buy, may need to handle some information. So this page sets out the framework for the site as a whole, and then states app by app what is actually handled, in the table below.

Where the table says “None,” that app really does send nothing.

We add a row here whenever we release an app. If an app is not in this table, it is not published yet.

Across the site as a whole we store one thing only: your language choice (Japanese or English). It contains nothing that identifies you, and clearing your browsing data removes it.

Some apps also keep your entries or settings on your device. Even then, they stay on your device and we cannot read them.

About cookies. We do not currently use any. If we ever do — for advertising, for example — we will update this page and obtain any consent required before doing so.

Using this site causes requests to the following outside services. As a technical consequence, your IP address and browser type become visible to them.

• Data an app needs to work — some apps query an outside API to function. At present this means exchange rates (Frankfurter / ExchangeRate-API), where we send the currency pair and nothing more. The amounts you typed are not sent. We will update this entry as more apps are added.
• Styles and icons (the CDNs serving Tailwind CSS and Font Awesome) — loaded when the page opens.
• Analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) — used to see which pages are read and where visitors arrive from. It sets no cookies and does not track individuals.
• Web server logs — our host automatically records access time, IP address and browser type. We use these only for troubleshooting and security, never for anything else.
• Advertising — none at present. If we later carry ads to keep the site running, we will update this entry and the section on cookies. We will not place ads inside the apps themselves.

If you contact us, we use your email address and message solely to reply. We do not share them with anyone or send you marketing.

PayPal、Amazon、Buy Me a Coffee（Stripe）が処理します。

Tips are processed by PayPal, Amazon, or Buy Me a Coffee (via Stripe). Card numbers and other payment details never reach us. Please refer to each provider’s own privacy policy for how they handle your data.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are being read. It sets no cookies and stores nothing that identifies you. What we see is aggregate: pages viewed, referrers, country and device type. We cannot tell who you are. If we change what we measure, we will update this page.

There are no paid apps and no accounts at present.

If we later offer an app you have to buy, or one that needs an account in order to store your data, that app may handle information such as your email address, a record of your purchase, and the data the app works with. It may be stored on our server, or in a cloud service under your own account (Google Drive, for example).

Three things will not change:

• The free apps published today will keep working as they do now. Anything marked “None” in the table above stays that way
• Whatever we hold will be named in the table above and on that app’s own page. Nothing will be added quietly
• We will not collect anything the feature does not require

The only personal data we hold is your email correspondence and our server logs. To review or delete it, contact us at the address below.

If we change this policy, we will post the revised version here with a new date. Where a change would widen the information we hold, we will state what changed and when it takes effect.
